Elite Catching Clinics- Our
instruction is geared to Fastpitch
Catching Skills. We have produced 11 All State HS & 1 College
All-American in the last three years. Our past catching students are now playing
for the best colleges in America. UNC,
Harvard, Uconn, Fairfield, FDU many
others. In 2003 Kim Castner of Lacey
Twp. was selected as the “Rookie of the
Year” from the University of Connecticut. This year we
are extremely proud to announce that Killian
Roessner of Wall Twp (formally of Lawrenceville Prep) was recruited to LSU. LSU is one of the NCAA’s top ten
teams. In addition she has also been selected to play for the most prestigious
women’s teams in America, the Brakettes. We
selected Killian as our Elite Travel
Player of 2004.
General Info- #1- These are five week sessions for one hour per
night in times and locations listed in our spring schedule. So, pick a class.
#2- Instruction is geared to correct Fastpitch catching techniques. #3- A five
week course costs $80. Look for classes marked “C”

Instruction-
Physical &
mental requirements of a catcher * Leadership (Catcher the ultimate leadership
position) * Basic Stances * Receiving the ball * Framing the pitch * Blocking the ball * Plays at the plate * Snap throws to 1st
and 3rd and holding runners on * Throws to 2nd base *
Calling pitches (signals) * Call pitches (analysis of batter) * Calling
defenses (analysis of situation) * Live pitchers (throwing live Change-ups,
drops, curves, screwballs and riseballs) some locations * How to handle
pitchers * Throwing drills to improve arm strength and mechanics (body
efficiency).

Class size- all catcher
classes in all locations will be limited to 12 students maximum NO
EXCEPTIONS.
Class Length- All classes
will last for one hour per week, five weeks in a row.
Equipment- Knee pads,
glove and an extremely aggressive attitude.
College
Recruiting Assistance- we have assisted many of our students on to ASA
teams and into college. This is always free of charge for ELITE students.
